Maybe Apple Maps had to be this way, and maybe you can help →

I checked out the theamazingios6maps tumblr that he links to and, although theamazingios6maps don’t mention it, Google Maps creates the same interesting effects in 3D mode with overpasses and misplaces some of the same locations.
